The crown for Miss Italia 2001-2003

In 2001 an Italian researcher, funded by Cielo Venezia 1270, found a valuable raw crystal in a mine of igneous rocks in Virgem da Lapa in Brazil, an area renowned for the richness of crystals and rare minerals.

Sergio Cielo, President of Cielo Venezia 1270, thus fulfilled one of his biggest dreams: he owned a crystal worthy to be the utter protagonist of the crown for the most beautiful woman in Italy. After a long study of the raw crystal, a marquise cut was chosen in order to bring out its brilliance.
